Last week I was taken out of the world to go home and be with my family as we said goodbye to my grandmother’s youngest son, Keith Harris (Uncle Son in BIRD). I can’t begin to tell you how special he was to all of us. He was a great light in this world and left behind a legacy of social work, community service, friendship and family. If you wanted great advice, a pep talk, a job lead, a good laugh, a fun night of bowling, crab legs, or big screen tv, he was the one to see ;-). Though we are all so sad that he had to go at only 58 years, we are so grateful that he didn’t suffer for very long and all are warmed by knowing how much he gave this world and how much fun he had while he was here.. R.I.P. Uncle Keith. We love you so much and will miss you, but you will live on in our hearts and minds forever.
Thank you to everyone who prayed for our family, called,
came by to support my aunt and cousins, and kept us in your thoughts at this difficult time.
