Okay, I’m extremely superstitious when it comes to certain things, and all in all, I try to avoid award talk when at all possible. However, it is that time of year for the American Library Association Awards. Of course there is always Caldecott and Newbery Award buzz, but the bleachers for the Coretta Scott King Award have been silent until recently.
