This year I spent Thanksgiving with one of my best friends
—FilmMaker, Nadirah Bell.

It was my first time eating Tofurkey with miso…yum.

I was also able to relax a bit and veg out on movies, tv, and books.

I read BLACK GIRL IN PARIS by Shay Youngblood.

went to see AUSTRALIA by Baz Luhrman

read this month’s issue of INTERVIEW magazine

and got sucked into THE “REAL” HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA
(which actually bagan on my way to New Orleans)
On my last night of holiday splendor I went to see AFALIAH perform an unlikely
and outstanding acoustic set of songs from her upcoming album.

Yay art!

Great illustrations! I am a writer waiting to be discovered. Your work is suited for my African American characters. By all means please visit my website. Keep up the good work!
